The AOWMA hosted its first Site and Soils Field Day while implementing COVID-19 social distancing and PPE requirements.

 

The first field training day of the year took place in Fort McMurray on May 28.  Class size was kept to a minimum and face masks and social distancing were the order of the day.  You can\’t hand texture soils with gloves on so that PPE component was not utilized.

The training went very well and it was clear that attendees were happy to be out and sharing stories and ideas with the group.
