The AOWMA is pleased to open the registration for exhibitor to our 18th annual trade show being held on February 25 & 26, at the Grey Eagle Resort & Casino, Calgary, AB.
The 2016 event continues with a two-day format for the annual trade show. Feedback from our regular exhibitors has indicated that hosting the trade show in the afternoon and evening on Day One and following up with a shortened trade show on Day Two is the preferred format. This format will allow delegates to the convention to arrive and participate in educational sessions during the morning and early afternoon on February 25th, and then attend the trade show in the late afternoon and evening. On February 26th, the trade show will open in the morning and will run until early afternoon. Exhibitors will have the opportunity to provide periodic technical sessions during the trade show. Exhibitors are encouraged to stay after the trade show ends on February 26th and join their fellow stakeholders for the conference sessions on the afternoon of February 26th and throughout the day on February 27th. An educational day will also be available on February 28th for those wishing to stay on.
AOWMA continues to increase its marketing of this event. Exhibitors will be provided with posters to display in their sales rooms, flyers to copy and send out to their client list and tickets to the trade show to hand out to customers. The tickets, when filled out and turned in at the AOWMA registration booth, will enter the registrant for door prizes to be drawn throughout the event.
Exhibitors are asked to help promote this event by providing a ‘show special’. This item or discount would only be available to those who attend at the trade show. Having special offers such as this helps to bring in delegates and expands attendance at the show.
Once again, the association and its exhibitor sponsors will host a meet and greet/pub night. Take advantage of the opportunity to help sponsor this relaxed networking event at the trade show.
Other sponsorship opportunities include entertainment, the Friday evening social event, sponsoring or co-sponsoring the delegate bags distributed at the show, advertising in the convention magazine and providing speakers for the technical sessions or main plenary.
