AOWMA 2019 Trade Show and Convention

AOWMA is excited to invite you to participate as an exhibitor/sponsor at its 21st annual trade show being held on February 7th & 8th, 2019, at the Sheraton Convention Center in Red Deer, AB.
As in past years, the trade show will be delivered over two days, beginning in the late afternoon on Thursday, February 7th and carrying on into the evening and then reopening on February 8th in the morning and remaining open until the early afternoon. This format allows delegates to arrive and participate in educational sessions during the morning and early afternoon on February 7th, and then attend the trade show in the late afternoon and evening. Those who don’t have an opportunity to visit all the booths on Thursday, or those who cannot attend until Friday, have a good opportunity to visit the event on day two. Exhibitors will have the opportunity to provide periodic technical sessions during the trade show. Exhibitors are encouraged to stay after the trade show ends on February 8th, and join their fellow stakeholders for the conference sessions on the afternoon of February 8th and throughout the day on February 9th.
AOWMA continues to increase its marketing of this event. Exhibitors will be provided with posters to display in their sales rooms, and information to share with their client list. Exhibitors will be able to purchase banner ads on the convention app and message clients directly from the app, inviting them to a display at the booth or reminding them of a show special.
Exhibitors are asked to help promote this event by providing a ‘show special’. This item or discount would only be available to those who attend the trade show. Having special offers such as this helps to bring in delegates and expands attendance at the show.
Once again, the association and its exhibitor sponsors will host a “Beer Garden” craft beer and food pairings meet and greet in the trade show hall. Take advantage of the opportunity to help sponsor this relaxed networking event at the trade show.
Other sponsorship opportunities include entertainment, the Friday evening social event, sponsoring or co-sponsoring the delegate bags distributed at the show, advertising in the convention magazine and providing speakers for the technical sessions or main plenary.
